I'd been here before a show a couple of doors up at the Mayflower and knew it was good. So this weekend, we took my husband's parents to celebrate his dad's birthday. The atmosphere was great, the food - OMG the food! Generous portions at a very decent price. I had the best carbonara I've ever had anywhere. It was just stunning. The staff were great and the owner (we think he was the owner) an Italian, was so warm and friendly. He sat down with guests and he chatted to everyone, really making time for his customers without slowing service at all. He really made us feel special. He also overheard us wish dad a happy birthday and, when our desserts were due, the lights went down and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday as his dessert came out with candles on. It was such a lovely touch and completely unexpected. Overall, food to die for served with care and attention in a fabulous atmosphere. Sorry, if I'm gushing, but we had such a good time and I've been there 3 times now, I've seen the same excellent service and food. This really is one not to miss.

I met a friend here for lunch one day. We didn't have a great deal of time but service was good and efficient. We ordered different pizzas and they were extremely tasty - probably the best pizza I've had outside Italy. I've been here for drinks before with friends after work but this was the first time I'd eaten there - I can't recommend it enough. Do go and try it. The staff are all very friendly too. Our food was also great value.

I don't know why I haven't been to Tosca's before. I was impressed from the time I made the reservation. They had a set menu on the night we went, which was amazing value for money. The food was amazing. Good size portions, well presented and lots to choose from! I couldn't wait to get into the dessert cabinet! The wine selection was impressive and they sell Peroni on draft. The waiters were excellent. Friendly and efficient and provided helpful recommendations. I will definitely be going back!
